The Blue Sea (2026)
Bleu Au Loin
Director: Amir Houshang Moein
A fisherman feels himself decaying from within, as if his own flesh mirrors the ache of a nagging tooth. Trapped in a labyrinth of agonizing recollections and overwhelmed by the chaos closing in around him, he can do nothing but watch, powerless, as the nightly news broadcasts images of suppressed protestors. His despair seeps outward, dissolving his form into surreal, abstract rivulets—his body scattering like the distorted, dripping figures in a Francis Bacon canvas.
