Beach Read (2027)

A hopelessly romantic novelist who still believes in fairy tales and a jaded literary fiction author who scoffs at happy endings are forced to become neighbors for the summer in a quaint lakeside town on Lake Michigan. Both are bitter rivals, creatively stuck, and complete opposites in every way. Desperate to break their writer's block, they make a bold wager: swap genres and write in each other's style. As they challenge one another’s words, the boundary between make-believe and real love starts to vanish.
