Wandering Trees (2026)

In a ramshackle farmhouse on the fringes of town, Piero and his son Giuliano live a solitary existence, their only companions a menagerie of wounded creatures they’ve rescued and nurtured. But the town’s self-appointed elite, the Nonne, view their unkempt, bohemian lifestyle as a stain on the community and scheme to evict them. When a heavy blanket of snow descends, tragedy strikes: Piero vanishes without a trace, and their beloved animals are brutally slaughtered. Left with nothing but grief and unanswered questions, young Giuliano must venture into the frozen unknown, risking everything to find the father who was his whole world.
