A handful of French teenagers embarks on a class excursion to Pompeii, exploring the ancient ruins and the haunting remains frozen by Mount Vesuvius’ eruption in 79 CE. Amid this eerie, time-locked city, they are unexpectedly seized by a disorienting, overwhelming force. One by one—James, Toni, Suzanne, and their Latin instructor, Mme Mercier—they yield to waves of craving, fury, and hopelessness, sinking deeper until they let go completely and sacrifice it all.
