A struggling filmmaker named Silvestre gets a shot at turning his career around when a wealthy man called Ricky invites him for a meeting. Hoping to finally catch a break, Silvestre pitches his ambitious vision—a sprawling Mexican historical epic running over three hours, centered on the life of Benito Juárez. The sit-down is set at Ricky’s remote mansion, hours outside the city. Silvestre shows up full of excitement, only to discover nothing goes according to plan—and he’s been set up for an elaborate, humiliating prank.
