Flamingo Flamenco (2026)
At Spain’s Fuente de Piedra lagoon, home to Europe’s most spectacular flamingo colonies, a vibrant adolescent ritual unfolds each year: a dance that uncannily mirrors flamenco. But when a pack of vicious podencos—wild dogs—attacks the flock, tragedy strikes our heroine Rosie, a free-spirited, dance-obsessed flamingo. She loses her beloved sister, and the cherished flamenco tradition is banned forever. Haunted by grief and stripped of joy, Rosie grows into a hollow shadow of her former self. Then one day, she meets Carlos, a lively, encouraging lizard who reignites her passion to dance. As her inner spark returns, Rosie transforms back into her bold, confident self. She rallies her flock to confront the podencos head-on, reclaiming their rhythm and dancing once more.
