Criadas (2026)

Sandra goes back to her cousin Mariana’s home, hoping to find a picture of her deceased mother—once a live-in maid for Mariana’s parents. Raised under the same roof, their childhood worlds couldn’t have been more different: Sandra is a dark-skinned Black woman, Mariana is light-skinned. Their reunion stirs up painful, long-hidden memories and forces them to reckon with race, family, and where they truly belong—all while an eerie supernatural presence hovers just out of sight.
