Tony (2026)

Tony is a biographical coming-of-age drama about Anthony Bourdain at age 19, long before he became a globally recognized chef, writer, and television personality. During a formative summer in Provincetown, Massachusetts, the young Bourdain finds himself working in a restaurant kitchen and discovering a world that begins to shape his future.

Dominic Sessa plays the young Bourdain opposite Antonio Banderas, Emilia Jones, Leo Woodall, Stavros Halkias, and Dagmara Domińczyk. Directed by Matt Johnson, the film focuses less on Bourdain's later celebrity than on the restless, complicated young man who was still searching for direction and belonging.
