Leaving Eden (2026)
Six decades after a nuclear apocalypse left the world in cinders, a handful of survivors endure within a crumbling industrial wasteland. Ten-year-old Niko lives with his grandfather Lexi, who has raised him to believe their broken corner of the world is a "paradise" worth fighting for. Lexi fills Niko’s mind with hatred for the rival survivors on the other side of the railroad tracks. A vicious encounter with a wild, feral child sparks a brutal war where kids become pawns in the adults' violent games. As the grown-ups' cruelty spirals out of control, Niko begins to see that Lexi is not the hero he once believed. When Xeni’s family arrives, Niko learns that borders are nothing more than cages—and trying to escape could mean deadly consequences for the children caught in the middle.
