Wolken über Lützerath (2026)
For Blinker, Ronni, and Green Party MP Kathrin Henneberger, the fight to preserve the 1.5-degree climate target is etched into the soil of Lützerath. Each takes a distinct path to defend the village at the heart of the Rhenish coal mining zone. Blinker builds physical barricades, Ronni orchestrates the occupation’s media presence, and Henneberger works to sway her own party leadership from within. Yet, to their party, Lützerath is branded a “wrong symbol.” When the eviction ends, all that remains are haunting images of destruction, lasting memories, and wounds that heal only with time.
