A promising young boxer spends a lonely summer drifting with his family’s carnival, surrounded by flashing rides but yearning for a life of freedom and recognition. During his final season working at the lake, he meets Viki, a lifeguard grappling with the sting of failing her college entrance exams. An unexpected connection sparks between them, giving both the courage to chase new paths. For Viki, the summer at Zemplínska Šírava becomes a turning point—a place to shed others’ expectations, let go of the past, and finally believe in herself.
