His mission: to deliver his final respects to the family of a fallen comrade. Grappling with severe PTSD and the aftershock of an explosion, he struggles through a painful recovery with no clear path forward. Consumed by grief and loss, he unexpectedly finds a kindred spirit in the widow of the heroic major—a woman who has also lost her direction in life. An unforeseen romance begins to bloom, awakening a sense of purpose and pulling him back from the brink.
