Approaching 40 with little to show for it, Petya toils as a restaurant chef while his wife and kids look right through him. That changes when he visits his parents' dacha and uncovers a dusty box of childhood toys. Buried inside is his old favorite—a puppet named Petrushka, a namesake he can't ignore. Slipping it onto his hand, Petya triggers the impossible: the toy springs to life. Now he must battle his own alter ego in a gritty showdown that forces him to finally become the man his family deserves.
