Trapped under the weight of social expectations, high schooler Ai struggles to resist the relentless pull of conformity. Then, without explanation, students at her school begin stacking into a human pyramid. The principal and teachers behave strangely, enthusiastically urging everyone to join. The bizarre formations spread like a virus, consuming the entire town. In the end, only Ai and Yuu—a transfer student who never quite belongs—stand together to challenge the suffocating tide of blind obedience.
