The Social Distance (2026)

Two best friends—a brainy science geek and her boy-obsessed sidekick—are determined to wring every ounce of excitement out of their lockdown summer. With the pandemic trapping them at home and the looming threat of separate high schools in the fall, they hatch an audacious plan: build a real spaceship and blast off from quarantine before summer fades. But as their homemade rocket nears liftoff, they discover that keeping their bond intact is far trickier than launching into the sky.
