A journalist checks into Rijeka and is assigned room 23 at a local hotel, where he encounters an enigmatic roommate burdened by a murky history. His presence in the city happens to align with the sudden vanishing of a renowned regional musician. Intrigued, he launches his own informal probe—only to find himself ensnared by the city’s unforgiving crime network, jeopardizing his own safety and that of his loved ones in a perilous spiral he can’t escape.
