Synthesized (2026)

Synthesized is a 2026 British thriller and dark comedy written and directed by Chris Green. The film follows Martyn, a computer repairman and devoted synthesizer enthusiast whose fascination with 1980s electronic music provides an escape from an increasingly troubled personal life.

Starring Thomas Turgoose as Martyn, alongside Sacha Parkinson, Kiran Landa and Neil Bell, the film mixes bleak humor, psychological tension and synth-pop culture. As Martyn's carefully controlled world begins to unravel, his music becomes both a source of comfort and a gateway into increasingly dangerous behavior.

Produced by Paragon Pictures and Shout to the Top Productions, Synthesized uses its love of vintage synthesizers and 1980s electronic music as a distinctive backdrop for a character-driven story about obsession, betrayal and revenge. The film premiered in the United Kingdom in March 2026 and received early festival recognition, including a Best Actor award at the Manchester International Film Festival.
