In 1980s Lisbon, Rosa becomes part of a disillusioned youth movement, frustrated with Portugal’s post-Revolution reality. As members of a secret far-left militant cell, they bond over shared beliefs and a gritty day-to-day life that forges deep connections. But when their revolutionary dreams clash with a rapidly shifting nation—and a massive police crackdown closes in—they’re forced onto a desperate, dead-end escape. Their world unravels into a cycle of bank heists, bombs, friendships, prison time, love, and death. Cornered with no way out, their only options are to keep running until capture or death catches up.
