High school senior Tasuku shoulders the weight of full-time care for his mother Misaki, who is living with ALS. A daytime helper stops by, but the real responsibility falls on him—cooking, cleaning, and assisting his mom with bathroom visits. The demands forced him off the basketball team and left little room to dream about the future, which he figured didn’t matter anyway. Everything shifts when his mother qualifies for additional caregivers, suddenly opening the door to his dream college.
