Sardines (2026)
Sardiñas
A mother struggles to grasp the world her daughter longs to inhabit. Her daughter craves freedom, yet feels bound by the weight of family, faith, and the limits of her gender. The mother reaches out to bridge that divide, but doesn’t know how to exist within her daughter’s reality. Do we dare to shatter this endless chasm between generations, or remain frozen, sealed tight like a tiny tin of sardines? Metaphors of suffocation and symbols haunt every step.
