The Yamazaki family steps off the train at Akikawa Station and ventures into a forest buzzing with cicadas, on a secret mission from Headquarters Chief Tamura. Armed with insect nets, they dive into the hunt with childlike excitement—spotting a praying mantis, then a stag beetle—until a sudden “black shadow” gives them a fright. After the jump scare, they finally discover a rhinoceros beetle, erupting in joy like kids all over again. With their real goal of connection achieved, the rest of the day unfolds by the river and around a barbecue grill. Once fully unwound, the general producer steps in as MC, and the cast drops their roles to enjoy a “true summer vacation” as fellow actors. In this relaxed atmosphere, they open up with honest memories of joining Nihon Touitsu, their Yamazaki family bond, and their heartfelt feelings toward the director.
