Kazuki Tsukigase is a high school student with a hidden secret. Hoping to start fresh where nobody knows his past, he transfers to Sakijima High School, located on a secluded island. The island is home to a mysterious spot called the "Cove of Spiriting Away." One early summer afternoon, Kazuki discovers a girl unconscious on the cove’s shore. She wakes up in the hospital—her name is Nanao, she’s 16, but no one knows who she really is. The only clue: a faintly whispered word—"1974." What does it mean?
