A woman named Eun-hee pulls a mysterious stranger, Seo-hae, back from the edge of a frozen ocean seconds before she can plunge in to end her life. Seo-hae insists she belongs to the sea and longs to go back, but Eun-hee refuses to acknowledge her pleas, setting the stage for an unspoken battle of wills between rescue and surrender.
