In the northern Parisian suburb of Epinay-sur-Seine, Alaeddine navigates his daily life. Through a blend of cityscapes, poetic musings, and slices of ordinary routine, the film explores what it means to feel like a stranger in a distant land. It captures the solitude that sprawling cities like Paris can enforce, the deep craving for belonging, and the search for inner stability—caught between holding onto one’s cultural roots and opening up to the unknown.
