A young boy, uprooted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, finds a way back to his homeland without ever leaving Poland. From his new room abroad, he pilots a robotic dog—a mechanical avatar—that roams the streets of Zaporizhzhia, reconnecting him with the home he was forced to flee.
