In the isolated Jellyfish Village, poverty runs deep—except for one man. Trùm Sò is outrageously wealthy but famously miserly, so obsessed with hoarding gold that he denies himself life’s simplest joys. His carefully guarded existence shatters when a fortune of his gold mysteriously vanishes. Blinded by greed instead of logic, he plunges into a chaotic robbery alongside two unlikely partners: Thị Hến, a clever and quick-witted widow, and Tôm Hùm, a flamboyant wandering soul. This satirical period comedy turns stinginess into an adventure where nothing is as it seems.
