The Sacrifice (2026)

Deep within the ancient realm of Tripura, a kingdom bows to age-old fears and cosmic whims. Here, the land's fortune is said to rise and fall with the moods of the fearsome Goddess Kali. Should her wrath be kindled, ruin is promised. The queen, heartbroken by her barrenness, holds tight to this dread belief. Certain that a grand blood offering will soften the goddess and gift her a child, she conspires with the kingdom’s priest to orchestrate a lavish, violent ritual. But the king, haunted by the cruelty woven into tradition, forbids all animal sacrifice across his lands. What follows is a fierce clash of conscience—the queen and priest clinging to sacred duty, the king fighting for a more humane reign.
