Overwhelmed by dread, Rafael retreats to a remote forest hideaway, where a ring of masked strangers awaits him. He delivers the bloody weapon and Amalia’s severed braid as proof. In return, their leader—sinister in a clown mask—presses a suitcase of narcotics and a fresh firearm into his hands, assigning a task too heavy for Rafael to accept. His refusal is met with a chilling warning: disobey, and his family will suffer. The weight crushes him. Later, the masked crew unwinds, oblivious that Rafael, unable to endure another moment, has already taken his own life.
