Miles Jupp: On I Bang (2026)
Since wrapping up his last tour, Miles has kept busy with roles on Disney+’s *The Full Monty*, ITV’s *The Durrells* and *Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?*, plus countless appearances on *Frankie Boyle’s New World Order* and *Have I Got News For You*. He’s created an award-winning radio series and penned a novel. Had it not been for Covid, he’d have taken a lead role at the RSC—such is life. Still, he’s performed in a West End play and portrayed the Emperor of Austria and Europe in a Ridley Scott film. Yet amid all that, on a bright sunny day, he suddenly suffered a brain seizure. That led doctors to discover a tumour the size of a cherry tomato and a very urgent need for major neurosurgery. Naturally, he doesn’t want to make a huge fuss, but the experience has given him a story to tell—and a few thoughts he’d like to share with the room. So that’s exactly what he’s doing in his new show, *On I Bang*—a tale of surprise, fear, luck, love, and highly skilled medical professionals.
