United by a shared mission, Rashid and his dedicated team are fighting to gain official status for the Tazy as a unique dog breed—both locally and on the world stage. Currently, the only recognized category is the “Central Asian Sighthound,” an umbrella term that includes many types, among them the Tazy. But for Rashid, the Tazy is no mere subtype; it’s a living cultural treasure that urgently needs protection and preservation.
