Maja embarks on a quiet quest to uncover fragments of her childhood. She grew up with her mother, Marie, a wandering street clown, living day by day without ever knowing where they would sleep. A twist of fate led them to a small coastal village in Italy, where life felt light and unanchored—beautiful, but without stability. Marie was never able to give them roots. Only when Maja came to live with her grandfather did she finally experience something close to a real home.
