This intimate drama follows William and Margaret—later known as Billy and Maggie—across two pivotal moments in their shared journey. After four decades of marriage, a fragile and pain-wracked Maggie faces her final week alive. As the clock ticks down, their home swells with echoes of a lifetime together, haunted by the ache of their unfulfilled desire for a child. The stage becomes a living memory, where the past and present blur, allowing the younger and older versions of the couple to weave around one another in a poignant dance. Originally a 75-page script, this production was trimmed to 50 pages for inclusion in a larger festival, with only ten rehearsals to bring it to life.
