His search leads him to an ancient talisman buried under the foundation, and he slowly uncovers a chilling connection to a Lu Ban curse ritual — a forbidden practice whispered among construction crews. Legend has it that after nine ordinary houses are built, a sinister “tenth house” is selected for a dark purpose that was never supposed to see the light.
