Two decades after filming *Souvenirs*, Shahar now lives in Amsterdam, raising two Dutch-Yemeni children—exactly the kind of grandchildren his late father always wished for. He runs the city’s top falafel food truck, hiring refugees from across the globe. His 14-year-old son, Salie, is a sharp-tongued teen full of criticism. Embarrassed by his father’s market job, Salie pushes him to open a proper restaurant. Shahar dreams of that too, but he can’t bear to fire the refugees he employs. The breakthrough comes when Salie begins to understand what really counts.
