First-time director and creator Daniel Gad steps behind the camera with a burning question in his mind and a melody in his heart, setting off on an intimate journey with his father—a former player and club legend. In the city of Rehovot, two neighboring quarters sit side by side: Sha'arayim, born in 1911 from immigrants of Yemen’s Hidan region, and Marmorek, founded by settlers from the Sharab area. Each district boasts its own football club, both established in the late 1940s, steeped in proud traditions and a rivalry so fierce that even the local cemetery is divided by a wall. This is Maccabi Sha'arayim versus Hapoel Marmorek—the Rehovot derby. Now, a brand-new stadium rises in the city. Will this shared dream bring them together, or shatter their world for good?
