Dragged in Between (2026)

A lone girl wakes up in the woods with no recollection of how she got there, clutching nothing but a small instant camera. Desperate for clues, she stumbles upon an abandoned cabin tucked deep among the trees. Inside, she finds traces of someone's past existence, including a bizarre sketch of a half-human, half-animal figure. As she marks the passing days on a chalkboard, her own appearance begins to worsen. Obsession takes hold as she covers every inch of the cabin’s walls with drawings and photographs of the creature. She soon discovers the entity is only visible through the camera lens, never to her naked eye. One night, a low hum jolts her awake, and she spots the figure watching her from afar. She chases it into the forest, where it leads her to a hollow tree before vanishing. Snapping a photo for proof, she turns around—only to be yanked into the darkness, the camera falling from her grasp. When the final image develops, it doesn’t show the tree. It shows her, staring directly at it.
