By midday, beneath the canopy of riverside trees—as if suspended in the heart of existence—something slips away. Still, love runs as deep and relentless as the current. A man, caught in sudden upheavals—both within himself and from the turmoil of war—spends a solitary day along the water. He rediscovers a long-abandoned pastime: fishing. A fleeting wave of love and acceptance washes over him, yet it lasts only a breath before he must head back to the battlefield.
