Back in 2024, Cristian Estrella was deep into an artistic residency at Periférne Centrá in Dúbravica, Slovakia. There, he shot the folkumentary *Medzi dolinami, medzi vŕški, po stopách budúceho zvuku Slovenska* while simultaneously crafting the album *The Future Sound of Slovakia Vol.1* by Mira Tus Manos. Yet, no film captures everything. Some scenes get left behind—cut for pacing, rhythm, or simply because the main narrative had to move on. *Medzi scénami, medzi hlasmi* is precisely that: never-before-seen, already-edited footage rescued from the cutting room floor. Split into two parts—SIDE A and SIDE B—this collection features voices from Argentina, England, France, Catalonia, Amsterdam, New Zealand, and Slovakia. They don’t just discuss the project; they open up about their own creative practices, personal histories, and the inner maps that guide them.
