MARKS/MARKS (2026)
MARKS/MARKS explores the connection between light-based image creation through optical lenses and the physical act of painting, all within the digital age and the era of big data. The film tracks painter Dr. Harrison Waed See’s studio movements to set the rhythm and activate both sound and visual effects. In parallel, the still and moving images of Dr. See are transformed into sound and data-driven audio, generating additional layers of noise and visual impact. Completing the experience, the soundtrack amplifies the subtle sounds of his gestures and brushstrokes.
