Growing up far from the highlands, Yangqing Lamu unexpectedly crosses paths with Baima, a native guide, on a spontaneous journey to the Tibetan Plateau. Together, they venture into the remote pastoral steppes, where their journey becomes a soul-stirring search through the tensions of ambition and truth, custom and self-identity, touching on love, mortality, and ethics. Ultimately, in the sweeping solitude of the wild, she finds deep peace with her roots and her own spirit.
