Beyond the concept of home, this film traces the lives of Syrian women navigating exile in Germany—centering on the conflicts, bonds, and personal transformations sparked by their arrival as refugees. Audiences are drawn into the intimate worlds of Samar, Batoul, and Nibal, who came five years ago and now reside in the isolated towns of Altena, a medieval hilltop village in the Sauerland region, and the tiny North Sea island of Föhr.
