Amid the chaos of war-torn Tan City, a female medical student sets out for the crumbling, long-abandoned Yang family estate on the city’s edge—desperate to find her missing twin sister. The mansion is a hollow, decaying shell. Its unsettling landlady, unhinged landlord, and a ghostly deaf-mute servant who appears and vanishes without a trace create an atmosphere thick with dread. Strange occurrences plague the house: porcelain dolls that slowly swivel their heads, chilling nursery rhymes echoing through the night, a little girl silently playing cat’s cradle in the dark, and stray strands of long hair that seem to drift onto her shoulder from nowhere.
