Hinata (2026)
Directed and envisioned by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, this gripping mystery brings together 20 rising stars. Penned by Yusuke Moriguchi (known for "Beautiful Dreamer" and "Kohaku"), the story takes place at the funeral of "Hinata Okimura," where the plot thickens as each of the 20 attendees delivers a eulogy that contradicts the others, spinning the narrative in wild, unpredictable directions. A crowd of twenty men and women gathers to honor Hinata Okimura. Following the deceased’s final request, everyone must offer a eulogy. Standing before a peculiar altar with no portrait, some speak as old friends, others as loyal fans, and still others as members of an idol group, each sharing their personal memories. But as they speak, the true identity of "Hinata Okimura" grows increasingly hazy—with discrepancies even emerging in the gender of the person described—plunging the funeral into utter chaos.
