In weaving together ancient cave drawings and the dawn of motion pictures, filmmaker Alasdair Asmussen Doyle draws a haunting parallel between the vanishing of wildlife and the relentless march of visual storytelling, exposing an age-old human compulsion to capture creatures on the brink.
