Deep in the Siberian village of Yartsevo sits a boarding school. Each autumn, roughly thirty teenagers from Old Believer communities across remote villages arrive to pursue their education. These youths step out of a rigid, rule-bound world and into a space brimming with modern temptations. For many, studying far from home turns into a true test of will. Guiding them through this transition are the dedicated caregivers at Yartsevo. They step in as stand-in parents, offering the support these children need to navigate their new surroundings.
