Rodrigo Lira (2026)
A mosaic of voices from friends and acquaintances unravels the layered world of Rodrigo Lira, a defining poet in Chile’s 1980s literary landscape. This short film reveals the many personal and creative dimensions of Lira, while deliberately breaking apart, looping, and clashing the testimonies of those interviewed—turning the documentary itself into an experimental audiovisual piece. Shot just months after Lira’s death by suicide, the footage was rescued and safeguarded by the Universidad de Chile Film Archive, which finally brought it to light in 2026.
