An aging man, acutely aware that his time is running out and his life has dimmed like twilight sinking behind the western peaks, makes a determined pilgrimage to Nangri Monastery. His goal: to find his spiritual teacher and uncover the truth about his deceased wife’s reincarnation. On the road, he encounters a drifting young poet, and the two become unlikely travel companions. As their journey unfolds, their clashing perspectives on life unexpectedly balance each other, offering both solace and a path to release. Though the old man never reaches his guru, the wandering poet stays by his side, guiding him gently through his final farewell.
