Pianke (2026)

Pianke (1983) is an East German family and war drama directed by Gunter Friedrich, based on the children's novel by Peter Abraham. Set during the Second World War, the film follows nine-year-old Andreas Groß, nicknamed Pianke, as he gradually becomes aware of the dangers surrounding his family and the moral choices made by the adults in his life.
