Ghost Train (2026)

Documentarian Darya Khrenova, granddaughter of Ilya Trauberg—a gifted protégé of cinema legend Sergey Eisenstein—sets out to uncover the truth behind her grandfather’s mysterious death at the DEFA studio, where he took the helm after World War II. As she digs deeper into the investigation, she not only reconnects with her family roots and discovers newfound self-assurance, but also picks up the gauntlet her grandfather left behind, stepping into the director’s chair to create her own feature films.
