N'Diongane (2026)

A lion's attack claims the life of a hunter, leaving behind his wife and two young children. Thrust into the role of the man of the house, the older child earns the taunting nickname "little husband," turning him into a target of mockery among the village children. Overwhelmed by despair, he flees and meets his end in the sea. His mother and sister are destined to share the same tragic fate. Inspired by a tale from Birago Diop.
